We are hosting Taryn Brumfitt and screening her amazing documentary about body positivity, Embrace, right here in Vancouver for ONE DAY ONLY on Feb 26!In 2013, Taryn Brumfitt posted an unconventional before-and-after image on Facebook which quickly went viral and catapulted her into the media spotlight. In the midst of frenzy, Taryn realized that toxic body shame was a worldwide epidemic. She set out on a global journey to figure out what made so many women hate their bodies, and to explore how body positivity could change the world. The result? EMBRACE, a transformative documentary about learning to love your body and empowering the next generation to break free from the cycle of body shame. Partial proceeds will support G Day, a national rite of passage event series that supports positive body image, self esteem, leadership and supportive peer and family relationships for tween girls.Two screenings on February 26th! 12 noon: Screening only - tickets $20 each  3:00 pm: Screening, Reception and Q&A with Taryn Brumfitt - tickets $50 each Meet Taryn Brumfitt herself at this final gala screening of EMBRACE! After the screening, Taryn will take questions from the audience.
