From March 13-26 the Space Centre is celebrating STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) in space! Each day features different activities and take home crafts to get your kids excited about science.Math in Space – Sun DialsMarch 13th Make colourful sun dials to practice telling time. Plus, demos on how orbits work in our solar system.Pi Day, with pie!March 14th Join us for special presentations about our favourite math constant. We’ll have a Pi reciting contest and a Pi Parade led by a Pied Piper (with complimentary pie!)Engineering in SpaceMarch 15th, 16th & March 23th, 24th Calling all rocket enthusiasts AND coders! Explore your inner engineer by building your own rocket and participating in circuit board demonstrations.Art in SpaceMarch 17th, 18th & March 25th, 26thToday we paint black holes and nebulas, with our educators on hand to tell you all about them!Science in SpaceMarch 19th, 20th Science the heck out of the solar system!
