As we all know, public school kids didn't head back to class this week. What can you do with your little ones during the teachers' strike? Our Publisher Christine Pilkington appeared on Global TV to share some of her ideas.

You'll find several fun art activities, as well as demonstrations ranging from baby sign language to musical theatre for toddlers to digital photography for teens to basketry to pottery and a whole lot more.
Open House participants are invited to enter to win a variety of exciting door prizes. Additionally, anyone who registers for a class during the Open House will receive up to $10 off the registration fee (1 per family). Place des Arts’ program staff will be available to answer questions about classes, workshops, events and exhibitions, and facility tours and a sweet treat of yummy cake round out the afternoon.
