One weekend. Unforgettable memories.
May 15-17, 2026, Whistler, BC
If your May long weekend is still wide open, we have the answer. The Whistler Children's Festival returns May 15–17 for its 43rd year and this year's lineup is one of the best yet. Pack the kids, head two hours up the Sea to Sky, and get ready for a weekend your family will be talking about all summer.
New this year: a Friday night pajama movie screening Zootopia 2 to kick things off, a Bratz Biz youth artisan market where local kid creators sell their own handmade goods, and more free activations and craft stations across the festival grounds than ever before.

The festival is fully stroller and wheelchair accessible, with a designated quiet space for neurodivergent kids. Ticketed workshops and performances sell out in advance, so grab your tickets sooner rather than later.
And while you're up there, make a full weekend of it. Whistler in May means longer days, mountain trails, biking, ziplining, golf, and so much more waiting right outside the festival grounds.
